About the Readings

Continuities: Readings and Dicussions is a theme-based reading series that places literature in the context of pressing issues of today. Co-sponsored by Harvard’s Woodbery Poetry Room, the events ask how the imagination allows us to re-orient ourselves in the world. The events broaden the dialogue to include poets, memoirists, scientists, activists, feminists, psychologists, journalists, midwives and many more. Curated by Nadia Herman Colburn, the events take place in the Back Room of The Burren, a family-friendly Irish pub in Davis Square, Somerville, MA.
